Bev Wolke Comment: A comment I received from several parents was that the papers sent home to be signed gave them an opportunity to discuss issues with their child that may not have been brought up before between them. They were happy to have a reason to communicate with their child in this way. In my classroom, the presenter was very lively, well prepared and had a variety of activities to keep the students' interest and repeated the message of abstinence daily. I felt it was a worthwhile project and will invite the program back into my room.

My students were interested, talked about it for days, and others wanted to change their lifestyles. So many times students at this age have heard the information before. I didn't know there was such a thing as abstinence. Thanks for helping me with my lifelong bogglinq questions! I learned that even though I made a mistake, I can just stop and not do it again. This was a good way to learn about sex because it wasn't embarrassing or hurtful to anyone. I had fun! I love this class and I will not have sex before marriage. The teacher had a good answer for every question. I enjoyed you coming…I have learned a bunch not only about sex but about goals. Keep up the good work! This experience helps a lot of people and I’m glad there are people like you who are kind enough to do this with teens. [This class was] good because of the true facts of what can happen to you. And this will help me make a better marriage. I learned a lot about relationships. Thanks for teaching me these things. My parents and I both learned a lot. You did a great job! I thought it was an awesome experience…I now know to save sex. I have two sisters and three brothers…I talked to my parents about this so they can explain to my brothers and sisters. I really enjoyed having you with us. I learned that a real man shows support, protection and security in a family. I learned that abstinence is FREEDOM! You people at SolidSource can actually let me feel free to say things I could never ask anyone else…not even my parents (sometimes)! I think it was neat to learn about something I didn’t know about. I also liked doing the worksheets with my parents.
